If you remove quiet, you’ll see the solver and CVX output. you should also look at the optimal values of CVX variables for those iterations in which Solved status is reported.

As to what’s going on, here’s a guess.

The result obtained using the SeDuMi solver is inaccurate. The optimal solution is not as good as before the optimization.

Unsafeguarded (no line search or trust region)Successive Convex Approximation (SCA) or generally, alternating variables optimization are unreliable.
