Question about reproducing the CVX code

Hello, Mark! I am able to understand the paper and derive the core formulas in it. However, in expression (21) as shown in Figure 1 below, the term L(V) is a linear mapping of V, while the term M(V) is a quadratic of V. This paper only define V as CVX variable. However, if I defined V as CVX variable, the term V * V’ cannot be accepted by CVX. How can I do to deal with it? Can you give me some suggestions? Thank you!

I have no idea what that notation means (subscripts, superscripts, etc, the details of which might be important in an iterative process). But you should if you understand the paper. I don’t have access to the paper, and refer you to my previous post.
