Dear CVX Manager
According to the new version of gurobi solver (version 9), are you releasing this version for CVX?
As you know, this version is able to solve non-convex equations and get the optimal global solution. I think CVX executives should think about it. I am waiting for your response. Hope you get my message out to senior executives.
I can say fairly confidently that CVX will never be modified to handle non-convex quadratics which Gurobi 9.0 can address. YALMIP might be upgraded to do so, but that will take some development effort by the YALMIP developer https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!topic/yalmip/JzUc-sNUxj4 .
At this point, there is almost no development effort on CVX, and I don’t whether there ever will be in the future. And there won’t be any development effort to handle non-convex problems (other than binary or integer constraints).
