Integration with Julia

Hi,

Would it be possible to or is there any intention of integrating with Julia? Matlab isn’t free outside of academia and, although young, Julia’s performance is noteworthy (and syntactically similar to Matlab):

I do have a long-term goal of bringing a new version of CVX to Julia. I cannot offer any time frame for you, unfortunately.

On a similar note, is there any update on plans for CVX support for Octave? Octave support

Afraid not. To be honest it’s a financial issue. We’re close to preparing our formal launch of our commercial licensing program (informally, it’s already alive), and if that brings in revenue it supports development for these platforms.
