Does the cvx has the requirement of the path where the solver should be installed?
I mean that the mosek solver should be installed in file of the cvx toolbox? or there is no need to guarantee that.
If you install MOSEK correctly and add it using addpath following https://docs.mosek.com/9.2/toolbox/install-interface.html then cvx_setup will find it regardless of location. You can use the mosekdiag command to test if MOSEK runs as it should.
